Dr. Andrew McKenzie is a children’s eye care specialist with the training and experience necessary to meet the eye care and eye health needs of the young family. Dr. McKenzie is originally from the Twin Cities in Minnesota, and completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at Pacific University and Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. By virtue of exceptional academic achievement, Dr. McKenzie was granted membership in Beta Sigma Kappa, the International Optometric Honor Society, in 1993. After graduation, Dr. McKenzie moved to Grand Junction, his wife’s hometown, to begin practice. In his many years in practice, he has developed a love for working with kids and young families, providing fun and informative eye exams that are thorough and patient-friendly.
Dr. McKenzie is an active member of the American Optometry Association and the Colorado Optometric Association. Many people find a good eye doctor simply by getting a referral from someone else. Dr. McKenzie has an outstanding reputation and is pleased to receive referrals from his many satisfied patients.
